Do we need to book?

We highly recommend booking your tickets online in advance to guarantee entry, especially during weekends and the school holidays when we can be particularly busy. Booking ahead also helps us manage visitor numbers, ensuring everyone has plenty of space to enjoy the patch. To avoid disappointment, we always advise booking before you travel.

Can I change my booking?

Yes! You can change to any available slot at any time for no extra cost. You can manage this yourself from your profile by following these instructions for mobile or desktop.If you want to change the vehicle you're coming in, you DO NOT need to contact us - just bring your booking confirmation!

What happens if I turn up without a booking?

Accepted Answer

Your welcome to pay on arrival, however to avoid disappointment, we always advise booking before you travel. Entry without booking is £15 per car.

Question 4

Can I drop people off and then come back and collect them?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There is a designated drop-off and pick-up area. There is no fee for this, however waiting times are limited to 5 minutes. All children (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the patch.

What if I change my car or bring a different one to the event?

Don't worry. You don't need to inform us about this. Just make sure you have your booking confirmation.

Can we walk to you?

Accepted Answer

There are several countryside footpaths that lead to the Patch. Please visit Footpathmap for more information.Although we welcome visitors on foot, the Rotherwick Patch does not encourage parking in any off-site location as this can cause problems for people in the village and through-traffic.

Are you dog-friendly?

Yes, we pride ourselves in being dog friendly - in fact we often have horses, rabbits and cats visit us too! We ask that animals are kept on leads at all times though and any mess is cleared and disposed of responsibly. We reserve the right to ask badly behaved pets to leave if we consider they are upsetting the experience for other visitors.

Is the Patch wheelchair accessible?

We welcome robust pushchairs and wheelchairs; however, please be aware that our paths are natural farm tracks and field surfaces, which can be uneven and weather dependent.If you have any questions about accessibility before your visit, please don't hesitate to get in touch – we'll be happy to help.

Is seating available?

Yes! There is plenty of seating available throughout the Patch. We have benches where you can sit back and relax with a hot or cold drink, a delicious slice of cake.

Are there toilets?

Yes, there are toilets on site however these cannot accommodate wheelchairs. Unfortunately, there are no baby changing facilities on site at present.

What food and drinks are available?

We will have a selection of refreshments on site - tea, coffee and soft drinks and yummy cakes. Do you accept card payment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we accept card payments, but not Amex. We are in a field in the countryside so please bear with us if payment takes a little while to go through. We also accept cash.

Is it muddy?

Despite our best efforts, the Patch does get very muddy and is open to the all the elements hot and cold. Therefore we recommend you come dressed appropriately. We suggest wellies (or similar sturdy footwear)  and rain coats if appropriate – don't you love the great British weather!

How much do the pumpkins cost?

We're proud to say we haven't changed our pumpkin pricing since opening 7 years ago! Pumpkins are; Munchkin	£1Small 	£2.50Medium	£5.00Large	£7.50Jumbo	£10.00

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

We recommend wellies, a bag to take your pumpkins home in (they can be muddy if it's rained), a towel for muddy paws or hands and a phone or camera to capture all the great moments!

Can we hire the Patch for a photoshoot or special event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. The Patch makes a great location for photoshoots and celebrations, whatever they may be. Please e-mail us on info@rotherwickpatch.com or call on 07734 742288.

Can I use The Patch as a location as a professional photographer?

Accepted Answer

We welcome both professional and amateur photographers to shoot at the patch as it offers some fantastic backdrops with endless unique opportunities. All photographers doing a commercial shot must purchase a photographer pass (£50). If you wish to purchase a pass please contact info@rotherwickpatch.com. This is valid for the full day, photography clients will need to purchase entry tickets through the ticketing website as per normal. By purchasing a photographers pass you are agreeing that you will not block or alter any areas within the patch or prohibit other visitors from using areas within the patch. We are happy to discuss the possibility of hiring the patch and other areas of the farm for filmimg, fashion shoots or other types of shoots outside our normal opening hours. Please contact us to discuss further. Location fees will vary.
